"Frontiers in Vision Science" Series

This high profile seminar series features lectures by distinguished scientists and physician-scientists from across the United States and the world. The presentations are geared to appeal to scientists, clinicians, and lay people alike. The series focuses on basic science innovation and its translation to the clinic to enhance patient care.

This activity is open to the University of Miami community and the public. It is held on scheduled Thursdays at 5:30 PM in the Retter Auditorium of the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. A light dinner is served at 5 PM.

Laboratory Conference

The bi-monthy Laboratory Conference provides a forum for MCVR Investigators and their trainees and staff members to present research-in-progress.

This activity is open to the University of Miami community. It is held on scheduled weekdays at 12:30 PM , venue as announced. Lunch is served at noon .

Special Conferences, Seminars, and Workshops

Special activities include conferences to develop new directions, seminars from outside guests, and educational workshops.

Annual Research Forum

An annual retreat is conducted to review our research program. The agenda includes presentations by Investigators, educational activities, and talks by distinguished speakers invited from inside and outside the university.

This activity is open to MCVR investigators, their trainees and staff members, and invited guests only. Time and venue as announced.
